The girl behind the lens…

Hi!! My name is Linsay Nia {Nye-uhh}. I’m a 34 year old Equine Professional from New Hampshire with a passion for photography. I graduated William Woods University in 2011 with a Bachelors of Science degree in both Equestrian Science and Equine Administration! Fresh out of college I took on the titles of Assistant Trainer and Instructor, where I followed my love for the Morgan Horse and American Saddlebred. It wasn’t until 2020, where I knew there was more than just those four barn walls; so I broke out my 2005 Nikon and slapped a lens on it and started photographing my pups. It went UP HILL from there! As an equestrian myself, I've always held horses in a special place in my heart, combining my equine knowledge and the art of photography to create lasting memories. I am still very active at the barn, assisting, managing and helping in all aspects, as well as traveling to horse shows around the country to assist trainers, clients AND photographers!

You can say I “wear many hats”! I am my dad’s left and right hand gal for his horse hauling business; Henry P. Welch Trucking, a social media manager, content creator and sales representative for The International Show Horse Magazine AND I am in the process of working on a couple small business start ups! Horses surround my life, but don’t necessarily consume it! I love my family and my dogs, enjoy traveling in and out of the country and any and all flowers (can you tell??)!

Although I started with dog and horse models, I am always looking to build my portfolio and gain more experience. I love taking photos of you and your four-legged best friends, I also have photographed high school and college seniors, families, horse shows, special events, mommy & me’s, engagements, weddings and other long lasting memories.
